I purchaced a 65 f-250 4x4 without an engine. The code says it was built in November 64, in San Jose, with a 352. The bell housing matches up to a 352, but it has a front moter mount. Is this correct, I've installed a crossmember to make it all work with side mounts. Is there a stock front mount for a 352?

Pic in book shows similar setup in front. Large center bracket rests on rectangular mount, which sits on crossmember. Shouldered bolt goes through hole in center of mount, under the crossmember is a round insulator and the nut for the bolt.

Rear crossmember has a conventional steel/rubber mount R & L. Ears on side of bellhousing bolt to mounts.

Don't the 4X4s of 65/66 use the same mounting setup as the 61/64?
