Ford Excursion Dually

You'd have to picture it (or PS it) on a standard chassis, but it looks pretty bad ***:

Those trucks are unreal! Imagine the final price if all the options were chosen?
Had a few pics saved on my old pc of an Excursion swapped over to DRW and it looked just like the rear of the ones in the above link. The rear doors also have dually fenders on them. Also seen pics of a DRW Powerstroke van and saw one on the road.

I want my Ex a dually because I am not very happy with the towing feel I am getting when I tow my 9000 pound toy hauler. I just want more stability with 4 rear tires on the ground to eliminate the sway..........I used to tow with a Dodge Mega Cab Cummins and it did not sway at all in comparison to the Ex using the exact same hitch??

I have to say, towing with my 99 CC 4x F-250 7.3, and then hooking it up to the Ex, there is a large difference, I really think it has to do with length (there's that penile reference again!) My toyhauler 28 ball to butt, tows way different behind my truck than it does the Ex, I liked it better towing with my truck, but it dosent have the DVD player and all the room.
So yes, you are going to notice a difference going from a quad cab pickup to the Ex.
Had a friend I helped make his Suburban a dually, I have to say when done right they look bitchin, so take pictures!!

I think those "XUV's" could handle my Weekend Warrior trailer rather well!
Not really having any basis for this statement - but here goes...I would think it would not be all that difficult to do a more basic conversion of a X...bolt up a F350 dually axle (is the axle actually any different than the X? or just bolt up the wheels and springs?). I suspect the hard part would be the body work to get the fenders addressed?
I have thought about a dually X before myself - seems logical. I know of a guy over on RV.net with a Ford E350 Van converted to a dually - he loves it and tows a huge WW trailer no problemo.
