You dog! My first car was my mother's black 64 Comet with 200-in. Six and two-speed Slush-O-Matic. I beat that thing like a rented mule, it never quit. What you really need is a tri-power, the end cylinders never see gas with that little 1-bbl.

great find bobby,plus the free time of your's you freed up to do more on your toy.i have a set of them hub cap's hanging in the garage.they came factory on the 64 galaxie my dad bought new in 64.don't loose 1,they arn't cheap.

I think it was Bill that mentioned the Weber Carbs on the 289, I believe to were Weber IDE Downdrafts.
This is my favorite setup Weber DCOE Sidedrafts on a 4 Bbl Adaptor.

you the man !!! Its great you've pleased the wife.. My wife on the other hand isn't happy unless shes driving MY 4x4 Club Cab f150..........which leaves me driving the Merc. Sable oh well at least its in the ford family.
