How can I level the front end of my 1993 f150 4x4 without buying new coil springs, just bought new stock springs thinking the springs were just weak and causing the truck to sag. Have tried aftermarket screw-in spacers without success. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
you just bought springs and the truck still doesnt sit right? did you get the right ones? Are you meaning the front sits lower than the back, or one side of the front sits lower than the other..
dont use spacers, they decrease your spring travel and will make a rougher ride, so they're not worth it.....If anything, get a set of bigger than stock springs with about two extra inches of height. To answer your question, I dont know how to safely level the front end without buying new springs, but maybe someone else does.

I don't know any coils I put in raised the from 1-2 in (because of old sag) and thats stockers . But you do realize that these truck ran down hill new. Get different coils .Did you get heavy duty coils? Don't know what to tell you.
I am pretty sure that you will have to buy new springs to level up the truck. At stock height, the front is about 1.5" lower than the rear. Most lift kit manufacturers sell springs that lift 1.5" - 2". This can be done with springs and a camber adjustment. However, if you wish to go any higher than that, it will require radius arm brackets and Twin Traction Beam drop brackets. So....your options are either lift springs or spacer bushings.

i bought a set of trailmaster front springs for my 90 4X4 on ebay, forgot the price i paid for them, but they were suppose to lift the front 2 inches. they did lift it some but not 2 inches. ended up costing me about $120.00 to get the front end alinement. it sits higher than it did but its still not level. of course if i put 200 lbs in the bed that will level it out. ive read were you have to install the 2 inch springs and 2 inch spacers to get it level. i have to say the trailmaster springs did make it ride a little nicer. i think the problem is that the rear springs are so soft, for a nice ride, that when ever you put anything over 200 lbs it lowers the rear and that makes the truck level. i thought about lowering the rear to level the truck out. i think that would be cheaper.
I thought about lowering the rear instead. That is a simple process. I want to stuff bigger tires under it though so I definately want to go up in the front.
