I need an offset goosneck hitch installed on my new F350. Want an offset because I have a short bed. Can anybody recommend a type of hitch and someone to install it? I have heard there is a minimum offset that will not affect towing.

What area of the state are you in?
There is trailer world here near Montgomery, as well as many different stock trailer dealers in the black belt.
Unless you have a strange GN on your trailer then I can't imagine it being a problem, as I have a short box also, and haul my 5ver, with a standrd 4 axis 5th wheel hitch, as well as a 40' flatbed trailer with a GN using the speed rails for my 5er hitch.

I grew up around BHM ,actually Cahaba Heights (now Vestavia). You might want to try Dandy RV on 1st ave N. or maybe down I-65 to calera for Burton campers. If that doesn't work look up live stock trailer dealers in the Phone Book and they maybe able to help you with the specific GN you are looking for.
