03 7.3 stalls and misses

I have a 2003 f-250 7.3 over the past few months the truck has stalled at a redlight and has jerked at running speed a few times,does anyone know where i should start to diagnose this problem

CPS maybe?? Check and see if there is some corrosion on the connectors. This is where I would start it could be something else but these are the first to go and the easiest to forget. It could also be a Throttle Position Sensor.

First step: make sure the CPS plug is secure. Disconnect and reconnect to ensure that it is making a proper connection.
Then, get yourself a spare cam sensor. They can be had from the dealer for around $150, from International for around $100, or from fleabay for as low as $50.

CPS or.........may be a fuel related issue. change out the fuel filter and valve (since your at it anyways). The fuel/water element is sometimes overlooked and can result in stalling/missing quite a bit.
