You can get a Kobalt at Lowes that fits a Ranger for around $100.00 and some change.

In my opinion you get what you pay for. You can get one for $100 that is probably thin and flimsy diamond plate, or you can pay a little more and get a heavier weight diamond plate. I had a cheap one and it dented easily. I have since got a newer, heavier duty one for around $250 and I am much happier with it. Just my 2 cents.

i agree with rgbot. if you just need a quick fix to hold a few things and keep them kinda dry, go the $100 route, otherwise, spend a little cash and get something nice.

Weatherguard makes some awesome toolboxes. I hate the cheap ones that never work. not sure what class mine falls in, i got it free from a buddy, bolted it to my box, both handles open, locks work, and it keeps water out. Thats all i care. Mine is a low rider that the top is level with the top of my bed.

personally, i think they're top of the line too (weatherguard). i built the ones in my sig and couldn't be happier.

some of you may be sick of hearing me talk about them, but it's the only thing i've really done. i'm not all that mechanically inclined so they're the only thing i can give (good) advice on.

When i worked for a water wastewater department for a nearby city thats the only thing they would buy. If we bought a new pickup truck, thats the first thing that would go on, a couple of weatherguard tool boxes. And we beat the heck out of those things too.
