Post Funny Things People Have Said About Vehicles...

My wife and I were talking today and I was telling her about another new SuperDuty I saw at the local Ford dealership.

I was telling her it was a V10. She says "I don't know what a V10 is but I know what a V8 is." I said, "Oh really?" She says, "Yeah, it's a drink".

Anyone else got any funny stories?

The "710" reservoir comes mind.

The tire is only flat on the bottom.

I get the only flat on the bottom.

Check Your Fluids....

Never, ever let the blinker fluid run low.
Don't try to fush your carburetor. It could plug the toilet.

I actually new a guy (he admitted this freely!) who checked his oil and then complained how hard it was to top up the level......"the dipstick tube is so small I spilt oil everywhere trying to pour oil down the little hole!"

I used to work with a guy, who is a car nut, who told me this story. He went out into the parking lot at work, and was approached by another co-worker, who asked him for help. This other co-worker had wanted to check the oil level in his car. He took the cap off the valve cover marked 'oil' and looked inside to see if there was any oil, which he obviously, saw none. After he had dumped in 14 litres of oil, he still couldn't see the oil, so he went to get my buddy for some advice. Can you say "DIPSTICK" I think both meanings apply here!

HAHAH, thats too funny. I asked my buddy how much horse power he has on his acura EL, and he said 180. 180 is the top speed on his speedometer.

My buddy once bought a Malibu, and the poor 305 was full of oil up to the valve covers.
