Washington Chapter G2G

I am going to look into a group site along the 'Westside' of the Hood Canal...Qulilcene or Dosywhallup( Spellings are probably wrong) area. 993 has also suggested Leavenworth.

Please give input, so I can plan. My thoughts are for the first weekend in June.

I am all for the Hood Canal thing. I have not done much in that area but I know its beautiful. I also would appreciate not having to navigate Stevens pass in the middle of summer when it may take 5 or 6 hours to get to leavenworth from Everett and the same on sunday coming home.

Thumbs up G2G Info

Based on the locations of most members, I am suggesting the following sites for a G2G:

- South Whidbey Can accomodate 100 people in a group

- Dosewallips Can accommodate 30

- Sequim Bay Can accommodate 60

These are state parks and you can review them at http://www.parks.wa.gov/parks/

I am going to start a poll so we can vote on a site. When you vote, please suggest a weekend that you can attend...Lets try to have our first G2G between 15May and 15 Jun.

Because the winter is ending, and people are comming out of hibernation, it is important that I reserve things ASAP. Therefore, I will be closing the poll on 15 Apr 07...

Hope everyone can be there!

I'd like to GTG, but are women allowed to these things? My wifes a real hard *** tomboy and can take any Sh** out you give to her and give it right back. But I'd love to have her go...

No, but seriously guys... I would be there except I've been sick and haven't been able to do what Jared told me on the F250. I need to know how long I have to pull my thing together cause I wanna be there!

PS.. I AM NOT taking my wifes honda to an event like that.
