Rusty-
You might do a search on www.cherry-auto.com and see if any come up in your area. This is a group of auto salvage dealers and you can search their inventory. Of course they will ship but it will cost.

Thanks texan but I don't need the whole car. I have every thing I need. All I need is the IFS. If you run across one by its self let me know. I think it's about 860 miles from me to where you are. But I could probably figure a way to get it here. Maybe someone on the FTE could relay it or something. To get it closer or I could pay them. Do you think that would be possible or maybe not? ...........................Rusty

Rusty,
I doubt you will find one that isn't in the car. If you do, that peson will know what it is and will want more for it than you will pay for the car. The rear end alone can go for as much as $500.00 if someone needs it bad enough. I have one IRS and one IFS pulled out and I would not let either go for less than $500.00 a piece. I only paid $200.00 for the enitire car it came out of but then there was the time and mess and hassle of dismantling the car to get these items out and then dumping the carcass so I don't really think I would be out of line asking that much for either one.
An entire car for $400.00 isn't that bad a deal, particularly for one in decent condition like the one down the road from me. I really think the car could be made to run again. If I were to buy it, I would probably try to get the engine running while in the car, then look to sell to help offset the cost of the car.
As far as distance goes, I made it down here from Cheyenne, WY in a very long single day. You can get here from Mustang. We are about 7-8 hours from OKC. I've made it from Tulsa to here in less than 7 hours but I was probably going faster than I should have been except in Atoka, OK ior something like that. I remembered that I slowed down there.
