Instrument cluster swap

Ok, my truck is a '97 and I would like to swap out the instrument cluster whith one from a '99-03 cluster. Will the wireing be the same?

It can be done but is rather involved. I know guys have done the swap but they were incredibly good at electronics and fabricating anything they needed to get it to work. It is anything but a plug and play install.
