Smile Shock absorber recommendation

What shocks would you recommend on a E350 van?

I know I can go with Motorcraft but understand there are other brands such as
KYB and Bilstein.

Thanks

I use the Monroe Gas-matics. They come fully guaranteed and that was WHY I bought them, and they have been trouble free for years now. The other brands you mentioned are fine, too, but just be sure to choose a large-piston shock, in my opinion.

I have no basis to compare functionality between brands, but bought Gabriel shocks with lifetime warranty & replaced them for free after 100K, not questions asked.

I went ahead and ordered the Bilstein shocks after reading all the posts from different forums.

I hoping the installation will be straight forward.
