Ok, planning a get together has never really worked out for our chapter, but as chapter leader I am determined to make one happen.
In my wanderings around the state, I've met up with jseim44 and FordTrucksKickGM, and CBSuperduty. They seemed to be nice guys, didn't beat the tar out of me and steal my truck or anything... Hopefully they will tell you I am not a total loser, either!
So, is anyone remotely interested in having an Omaha/Lincoln area get together? We can keep it simple, like meeting for coffee, or we can find something else to do.
I am thinking late March, maybe the 24/25 or 31/April 1. (April fools day, hmmm, that might be interesting!)
So, anyone got suggestions?
Now for the "or else"... I will give up my chapter leader spot, and fade into oblivion, never to be heard from again...
Just kidding Rob. I would try to make it if I am not too busy. I don't drink coffee but I am addicted to the smoothies at Caribou Coffee on 72nd & Pacific. Get a date hammered out and I will try to make it.

Seriously though, count me out. At this point Omaha/Lincoln is just too far for me to go. It'd be nice to think that there would be enough of us here for more regional meets. Right now we're just too spread out. When it comes time for good ol' Kearney Cruise Night I'll be up for something then.
Also, I'd hate to see you give up your position as chapter leader. Someday we'll have more active members. It all just takes time - things don't happen overnight.

I could probablly do a meet late March/early April. I would be nice to get all the guys there, but I can understand Jake and the rest of the guys out west not being able to make it.
Common, Rob is a BADASS! I tried to kick his *** and steal his rental truck but he fought me off.lol
Hey swap meets are comming up again. Maybe the weather will be better this year.
I kind of like what FTKGM said about swap meets. Is anyone hitting up the Lincoln this Sunday? I *might* be going down with a few guys from school, so that's a possibility!!!! I'll let you know for sure when I know for sure......

I might go to the Lincoln swap meet on sunday but I need to run to a guys place by Omaha to look at some 460 parts. If I get that done ealry enough I will head over to Lincoln.
