In search of: The Ford Y-Block: how to repair . . . .

Maybe someone can help us:

As fans and owners of the famous 292 Y-block we are in search of the book:
The Ford Y-block: How to repair and rebuild the 1954 - 1962 Ford Ohv V8, by James Eickman. It's a paperback, 117 pages,
ISBN-10: 087938185X
<LI>ISBN-13: 978-0879381851
and it was published in November 1984 by Motorbooks International.

Unfortunately this item is out of print, and now hard to get, certainly over here in the Netherlands, Europe.

We sure could use it, so if anyone has a copy of it and can spare it we are very interested. We sure would appreciate if you can help us and as long as the price right you will make us happy!

As you all know the (292) Y-block is a fascinating engine, and we would like to learn all about it. The book will be of help while rebuilding ours.

Thanks in advance, greetings,

Spike

This book pops up on eBay all the time. Just keep your eyes open and hope you find someone who will ship to the Netherlands.

Y-block book

Thanks guys.

Saw them indeed on E-bay, but the items were sold for over USD 60!!

Don't think that we are cheap, but as you say; they were brand new 18 USD so I think it's crazy to pay over 60 USD for a second hand one.

It's a good thing to make some money and we think it's never wrong to act and think business-like, but buying all copies and than selling them at 333 per cent profit is criminal!! These are not fellow Ford lovers, but profiteers I guess.

Too bad,

still, if anyone has a copy of the desired book and wants to sell it to us to help us out for a reasonable price we shall be glad to hear of it.

Thanks!
