water temp when driving truck

hey guys whenever i didn't have my turbo on my truck my thermostat was in the normal range. Now since i have the turbo on the truck the temperature guage always stays below normal everynow and then it will get into the normal range after pulling up a hard hill with a load on it. Do you have any idea if this is a problem or not?
thanks,
Jimmy
ps i just dont think it should always stay that cold on my temp guage.

If Your Talking About The Stock Factory Temp Gauge Its Doesnt Mean Squat I Have Never See One That Works Properly.

Diesel engine coolant temperature at the top of the radiator where hose attaches after high rpm or under load condition for 20 minutes should be (195-237*F) 91-114*C nice time to have a temperature reading point and shoot tool.

Hows the temp from the heater.......

well it seems not to be as warm as it used to be before i put the turbo on the truck. Also whenever comming down off of the moutian in 5th and not giving it any fuel the heater air gets cold and the engine cools down just like whenever you first start it up in the morning.
thanks,
Jimmy

I'm wondering if the thermostat is stuck open giving you cooler readings.
