Ok, I know early Bronco owners do this all the time. I am wondering if anyone has swapped their OEM power steering pump in a 90's Bronco to the saginaw "canned ham" type pump? If so, what type of bracketry, special parts, etc. will I need? (other than the pump obviously) I know that the company I work for has a '91 E350 w/ a 351 and it has the saginaw unit. I am wondering if this bracketry etc. will work in my '92 with a 302. (not that I plan on swiping the company truck's steering unit) Any comments, suggestions would be welcome.
Just tell her the original one is going bad and the upgrade is cheaper to do in salvage yard parts. Actually it is. I paid $36 for pump pulley and bracket. Plus one hose and a belt. It was worth it.
