Cold Idle Issues

I have a 90 Bronco with a 351, it has always run fine for me, but about a week ago, I had the battery disconnected for an extended period of time, and now it won't idle when its cold. It starts fine, but when it idles down slightly it begins surging, and then stalls. The only way to keep it running is to hold the idle higher with the throttle. Once its warm it runs just fine, but it has kicked on the check engine light a couple times when I'm coasting at highway speeds. I pulled the codes, and I get a 11 KOEO code, and a 41 continuous code. No codes while the engine is running, I'm not sure if I'm doing that test right. I could really use some help folks, I'm a little lost as to what I need to do next. Thanks in advance guys.

Dave

i had the same idle and surge problem when it was cold out. i forgot what it is called. IC something, but its right where the intake meets the engine, it has a piston which lets more or less air into the engine. piston was shot. plus my pops ripped the solenoid out. hope it helps maybe.
