Restorable musclecars

Does anyone know of anything out there? Since I started on my 70 Mustang some of my friends are thinking they should have projects as well. Even something w/6 cylinder will work (eg) 6 cylinder barracuda, stang, camaro, firebird, etc.

The only one I know of right now is a nice V8/C4 65 Mustang that I sold three/four years ago. I had all the rust/body work done on it. It`s been sitting since and I could ask Gord if he would sell it.
Let me know if you/someone is interested.

The term "Muscle Car" has become muddled over the years. What cars you typed above were originally called "Pony Cars." Pony Car reference refered to the Mustangs and all the competition that followed.

Muscle cars were originally mid sized cars with larger than standard V8's. GTO's with 389's; Fairlane/Torino's with 390's, Olds 442's with 455's (442 refered to 4 barrel carb, 4 on the floor and dual exhaust). Malibu's with 350's. Dodge and Plymouth had em too, Even AMC & Studebaker offered versions.

Full sized cars like Ford Galaxies with 406's, 427's were called HiPo's = High performance. Everyone except Cadillac and Lincoln offered HiPo's.

Nice looking cars, Came with 200 I6, 289, 390. 3 speed all syncro, 4 speed top loader, C-4 or C-6. Made a GT model = Stick, or a GTA model = Automatic. Very desirable cars today, very few survived. Go to dearbornclassics.com to see all the goodies you can get.

I know of a mint 66/7 factory 390/4 speed GT Fairlane that I`ve never been able to talk to the owner about.
It`s stored inside with so much stuff on and around it that it`s hard to see the whole car but enough to tell it`s super sweet! It`s one of my all time
favorites.

I knew a guy back in Red Deer that had a 67 fairlane, it was dark green and it was a very nice car. I can still see it cresting the hill after school was out lol.

I doubt I`ll ever get my hands on this one here either unless I can meet up with the owner and talk him into selling. He never seems to be around so not too likely.

Is that a fastback ( were they called 2+2)? the 67/68 were called fastbacks, and the 69/70 were called sportsroofs?
