The largest size we list for 20's would be 275/45-20. If you lift your truck you can potentially get a larger tire.

Yes I do work for the tire rack

The diameter of the 275/45 is 29.7 and the diameter of the 285/50 is 31.2. The tire will also be about an inch wider. I wouldn't think you would have an issue.

Just a quick question...although every site i've visited and everyone I've spoken to, there are a few on this site that say I'm wrong....

I have a 2001 F150 Screw 4x4 that came with 265/70-17R and from what I've researched, that's ALL that fits with these OEM Ford rims....

is that the case???

you'd know!
I ran the truck info through several sites and they all came up without P275/60R17...any advantage to running that one? disadvantages?

It is a softer ride then the LT(light truck) P(passenger) dont want to put a lot of weight or tow heavy using a P tire.

I never tow (kinda hate that LOL) or carry much...
the P rated load is 2535
and the LT is 2679

Couldn't justify the extra $150 or so and the harsher ride, so i stuck with the P's.
