Do you have any pics of how looks mounted in the truck?
Jeremy, any word yet on when SCT is going to release their 0-5vdc K thermocouple? I have already found one that will work cheap enough, but upon reading some posts over on SCT's site, it will come up as aux. I am off call for a week starting Monday, and depending on when it gets here, should have it installed and pics up by the weekend.
Jeremy just some FYI, I had looked into another tuner before deciding to go w/ your's and Matt's tunes.. Thanks they are awesome. But the other dealer called me because I was on a call list for the livewire- when he called this week they said it is not included in the first model of the Livewire and it will require and amplifier for those that have a pyro already, and those that do not and are starting from scratch would have to wait until they come out w/ a probe kit.. This is just what i was told... Also they have not tested it either. I would love to see some results in the near future, It would be cool if it works good and no glitches if SCT would give some type of a trade in on those that have previosly bought a Xcal2, I still like the sweep of an analog guage though.. But would be nice to compare against analog and PCM read digitals and EOT.
what would be the advantages of the livewire over the xcal 2, obviously the monitor, which im assuming by its display is all that is different?
yeah that is how I inderstand it, I called SCT a few weeks ago and they told me all they knew as of then. Same tunes just w/ digital guages. less wiring for the average guy..maybe it has more functions but that is all they told me right from SCT..Looked black and white though, did not know if it was a touch screen either.
