Greetings from Sunny(andwarm) California 1970 F-100 owner
My name is Alexander Gerrits, I answer to "Alex". I have been collecting, building, restoring and even racing 1963 Ford Falcons for 22 years now. I currently am President of the Golden Gate Chapter, Falcon Club of America.
On December 29, 2006, My father passed away at the age of 83. While this is a sollum occasion, some sentimental plusses have resulted including the inheiratence of His 1970 Ford F-100 Ranger. It is a decent Truck, but needs a few things(like restoration)
As I do for My Falcon new-commers, I hope to get tips and pointers on how to accomplish certain modifications from those who have done them before.
ThankYou in advance to any freinds I aquire in this site,
Alex

Welcome to FTE, nice to have you on board.
Be sure to join one of the California Chapters and drop into the 1967 - 1972 F-100 And Larger F-Series Trucks forum.
Here is the link for the FTE forums here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/index.php
The 70 Ford F-100 Ranger is one very neat truck, I have a 69 F100 Custom that I`m turning into a Ranger.

Thank You for the positive reply Morris! OH, I forgot to mention the Truck is a long-box. My father was second owner since 89.
It is two-tone Yellow-Green/off-White. HAD factory air, but still looking for the Unit around the property. I thought it to be a relatively common Truck in the past, but lately I haven't seen many like it, several that are close but either larger engines or heavier tonage and not the colors.
My Falcon Club is on the Nor-Cal Ford Car Club Council which includes a couple Truck clubs so I will start there, but if You know of a Nat'l Club, that would be fun too.
I DID post on the forum and need to read the reply, MAY have been YOU(??)
Thanks again,
Alex Gerrits, GGFCA

I usually lurk in the 48/60 truck forum and the Man/Sask chapter forums, seldom in the 67-72 forum.
Looks like this is the thread you are referring too: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...-lower-it.html
