A version of this truck, probably with a more Ford truck front end is slated for Kentucky Truck plant around 2009.

Nice looking rig. The ground clearance looks impressive. Will this really be the truck Ford builds to replace the current generation Ranger? Makes me wonder what engines they would put in the Kentucy-built version.

Thanks for posting this, this is very exciting stuff. Wish we didn't have to wait so long for this.

yeah the ground clearance looks impressive but they need to make it look... i dunno less japan car design, it reminds me too much of a toyota and that's not cool.

I would have to agree. Didn't really thibk of it untill I read your post, but it does look very Japanese. IMO, exterrior styling has never been Japan's strong point, except for a select few cars.

They need to change the name, Power Ranger sounds gehy.
The first thing I thought when I saw this title was:

I don't know, maybe the reason that's the first thing I thought stems from deeper emotional issues I haven't worked out yet...who knows?

I cant recall the maker but there is a Chineese or Korean built truck , not Mazda that is the splitting image of that and considering the new ranger is to be made in in Asia Im suspiscious.
