Our service manager is now holding down the fort where I expect to go in Olive Branch Mississippi. Attempting to fill his place is a young man who I know is a wildcat at best.

He fed me this line: "I need you to go up to Covington and deliver these keys, show this guy where his propane bottles are..."

And then he mumbled something about fixing a BOX....

"What box?"

"I dunno... But I'm headed toward Memphis, and you're going north."

So I head out, and I see a white chevy Impala behind me. I also saw it move over to the next lane, and speed up to get ahead of me.

I know this car. It's LEO...

"OH no, you crazy cabron!" (He's part hispanic)

So I dump it in second at 45, wind it and slam into third - about 500 feet before a stoplight. YES, I held him off with a four cylinder!!!

I think he's pushing a 350 in that clunker....

So now, homeboy who was "Heading towards Memphis" is playing street race games with me on northbound HW 51...

Turns out the kid who bought the trailer lost propane heat, over an empty gas cylinder, and didn't even go look for where they were on the trailer.

I got his water heater and stove working - the furnace is not staying lit and may be a return trip by someone.

"Oh yeah, just take him these keys..."

LEO.

"Thank you very much, now go swing from an Avocado tree!"

Oh yes, I'm going to have fun tomorrow morning...

Tell me about it - when I slammed third and blew him off it had to tell him SOMETHING.
