I'm wondering will a 99 5.4 out of a Expdition fit into a 94 Ranger. I can have the engine from a buddy of mine who doubled up on oil filter gaskets and leaked it dry and locked it up. I'll rebuild it if it'll fit into my ranger. if not I'll strip it down and put the proceeds towards the 5.0 that I know will.

i have 351w in my 93 ranger i had to cut the top part of the frame "c" and weld a plate on the outside of the frame to fit pass side exaust. i believe that a 5.4 is wider than a 351w. i have heard of 460's also going in, just be aware of exaust clearance.
