Lockers...?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 28-Nov-02 AT 02:02 AM (EST)]I have a small idea of what they are and how they work, but would anyone care to give me a full explination on it?
Also, what is a limited slip?

Lockers...?

So, I don't do that much offroading. I just do it once in a while. Nothing serious like rock crawling. Just the occasional muddy dirt road or mud hole. Do I need a locker?

Lockers...?

Dassmoof-
If you do most of your driving on the road I would not recommend a locker. There is a greater chance of parts breaking and excessive tire wear when a locker is used on pavement. If you have the money you could buy a ARB air locker, it can be "engaged" on and off by an air tank. That way when you are off-roading you can turn it on, and when you go back on-road you can disengage it.
