The F550 is PSD (and V10) exclusive.
(you can also get the 5.9 Cummins up to 275hp and 660lb ft, and the PSD up to 230hp and 620lb ft)

The biggest issue for me is side-curtain airbags... (maybe I'm a little biased because they saved my dad's life) but still IMHO, Ford really dropped the ball on this one. The dodge's and GMC's got 'em, and Ford should have put them in when the redesigned...
The dodges also come with a factory option remote start, AND the cummins diesel.
I love Ford and its the only truck I've driven, but seriously, I'm beginning to question my loyalty, especially with the airbag thing...
Somebody please remind me why I like the Fords so much. Sure, IMHO they look the best, but I'm just trying to think safety too
I'm not bashing Ford (or anyone for that matter) but some objective info would be great) Yeah, its a ford forum, so it will be biased, but hey, thats fine with me, I LOVE my ford Excursion
Thanks!

FORDTruckman99,
Take some advice, please do some research.
By the way, you might be surprised where those "Americians" are located that build the Super Duty's

Better get wrenching and pull that Japanese transmission out of your Ranger.
While you're at it, pull those German Bosch injectors.......Might have an ND A/C compressor too.....yank 'em all, no furrin' crap for Capt. America!!!
Ford doesn't even "honor and support" the country......you are delusional if you think you are by purchasing Ford.
Oh, and you're a FOOL if you think buying a Ford comes close to my 4 years of service to this great country.........get a life dude.
syndrome..........you'll learn.

Heck, there's more made "there" than here nowadays. BTW, I've bought 17 new Fords since 1965, have owned around 80 other Ford products and worked for Ford for 35 years. What really ticks me off is all the Fords being made elsewhere and calling them American. How does building cars elsewhere help the US workers and our economy? Ford GM and DCX have spent BILLIONS building new factories in China, while closing plants here.....What a crock!
Get ready to see Ford parts cartons stating the contents are Made in China very soon. Most now say Made in Canada or Hecho en Mexico. And you can bet your bottom dollar that some of the cars being built in China wll be sent here.
