Born in Denver General hospital while living in Wheatridge. Lived in Denver, Arvada, Lakewood, and Escondido, Ca. They tore down our house when they wanted to build I70 through there. Great Grandparents owned the first farm North of Longmont airport since the early 1900's. Time to move, about five million too many people here now.

That said, I'm hoping to move back to Wyoming in the next few years. Hopefully closer to the Big Horn National Forest.

I Googled your town and had to laugh. The photo that comes up first, shows the town under water.

I'm going to bring life back into this thread! Born at Colorado General back in the old 1980's. I lived most of my life in Arvada, graduated from Pomona High School, NOT in California... My grandparents on both sides of my family lived on Jay St in Lakewood between Alameda and 1st ave which is how my parents met. In my adult life, I lived in Wheat Ridge until 5 years ago when I moved to Colorado Springs. Like Scott51 said earlier on the thread, way too many people in Denver for my tastes and now too many people in the Springs too! I hate that our once rural and red state has become a playground for hipsters, liberals and potheads, yet somehow still too much damage, litter and crowding in the once beautifully empty Rocky Mountains.

Hey y'all! We got tired of waiting on our ordered truck and just picked up a 2020 Platinum F250 CCLB 6.7. Awesome to see so many natives here! Born at Lutheran in Wheatridge, moved to Littleton (470&Bowles) at age 5 and my parents still have that house. Dad graduated from Bear Creek too. I remember the area before everything was built up around it, in fact each of my schools were newly built too, ending with Dakota Ridge in 2000.
If y'all see a black F250 pulling a Salem toy hauler, or a red Road King on the road, give a wave!

Good day and hello my fellow Ford Truck and SUV advocates! I was born at St. Joe's in the late 80's and raises in and around Arvada...I attended Faith Christian Academy in Arvada. Hoping to see if any Excursion or Ford Truck owners are around the Western Slope 😉
