I've replaced the blinker module under the dash, checked the bulbs on both sides front and rear for the correct ones. Still I cannot get my turn signals to blink. They will all light up but not blink.
Hello- Welcome to FTE! I have moved your post to the specialized forum we have here for your question. Check out the list of tech forums we have on FTE. There is a wealth of information and expertise here to help you. Check the links at the bottom, and the menu bar at the top, of the page for more information and resources. Have fun!

Just to make sure - are you for sure it was the turn signal flasher you replaced, and not the hazard flasher? Silly question I know, but I've done it before. On all my Fords the hazard flasher has been conveniently placed on the fuse panel while the turn signal flasher is inconveniently placed on its own--coming off a lone wiring harness, up behind the dash. Never made a whole lot of sense to me.
Good Question. Thank you. I will double check. The way you describe it, I replaced the flasher from a harness all on it's own with two prongs.
I have not checked the hazards so I'll look again.
Thanks.
That is awesome! Thank you. I am out of town right now but upon getting home I will look this over.
I am hoping that it's simply the flasher...I hate tracing electrical issues.
Thanks again.
Vargas, the flasher itself has a nub on the end of it for fitting into a slot on the steel kick panel.
You have to first push upward then pull it away from the panel.

Gottcha...I am betting, by your description once again that it was indeed the turn signal flasher that I replaced...yet did not fix the problem. It was a module hanging by itself, that someone seemingly removed from the kickpanel and left hang.
I (as well as many of us) are finding all then inherritated issues with our trucks and left to fix them.
THanks again Dennis
If you do verify you replaced the correct flasher, there is one more test to make sure. Turn the key to run, and turn the signal on. Go out and see if the lights are on but not blinking. If they are, unplug the flasher with the everything on, and go out and check the lights again. If you have the correct flasher, the lights will be off, and not work at all on either side.
If this works, and you cannot get them to blink, then you have a load problem. If you are replacing the flasher with a stock type OEM regular type flasher, these type flashers work on current flow. The bulbs draw current through the flasher, make it heat up inside, till a bimetal switch arm bends and breaks the circuit. After it breaks the circuit, it cools down, makes the circuit, and then the cycle starts again.
So, you may have the wrong bulbs installed(not enough current flow), some of the bulbs are not on(not enough current flow), or possibly the wrong flasher(I kind of doubt this). If you get desperate, you can go buy a heavy duty flasher or an electronic one that does not work on current flow. You need one of these anyway if you are going to pull a trailer with lights.

Well, after further inspection, it was indeed the OTHER flasher that I did not replace. The thing looked like it was original?! I poped in a new flasher module and Bingo! The turn signals work!
