retired03 is starting off with a positive reputation.
wiper motor

Greetings from Siletz! My question is my wipers only work on high and not low or intermediate.Have replaced switch and still didnt work.My question is the motor shot or do I replace it?.My truck is a 1990 XLT 4.9 auto,there is a sort of round black unit that is atatched to the wiper motor .I have taken the frount of that unit off and found 3 contacts 2 r worn ,cleaned those 2 contacts up figured that was the problem but 2 no avail.So if anybody knows what the problem is Iwould be greatfull.If nothibg else I,ll just replace the whole thing .Thanks 4 all your help.

If the motor works on high, then I really doubt the motor would be a problem. I'd suspect the problem to be in the wiring to the motor, or the delay module. My first guess would have been the switch, but it looks like you've tried that.

I would try the delay module also. I think it's under the dash on your model.
