Can a 460 oil pan be removed with engine in?

I need to replace the rear main seal on my 97 F250 4x4. Can the oil pan be removed with engine in or do I have to remove or lift the engine. Thanks, Tony

should be able to undo the motor mounts and remove the fan shroud watch the lower rad hose and lift it up enuff to remove the pan.but if I was doin it id pull the engine and tip it bottom side upwards to do it that way oil wont drip in the eyes, face or ears
