Well i was at a light today and a younger kid pulled up with his 4x4 f150 rolled down his window. I knew he wanted to race me but i didnt want to jump the gun ya know so i didnt put it in 4wheel and launch or really even get on it untill he tore outta the hole with his loud *** straight pipes then i got on it...well short story he beat me until around 70 where i started to pull the eventually passed at 85........I didnt think that 150s were very quick but i guess i was wrong.....and tonight im putting my sct on, what a biotch that it happened today or he would have been eating soot for lunch
It was a newer one, i tihnk that if i would have hit it from the get go it would have been different, im sure e would have taken me until about 40(W/O powerbraking) but after that it would have been over,NOW maybe a little longer bcz if i hit the gas in 1st 2nd or beginning of 3rd ill get squirrley
i've had a 2004 5.4 reg cab 2wd w/ 3.73s and lsd (prolly fastest config 04+ f150), and now have a supercrew 4x4 5.4 w/ 3.55s and an open diff (prolly slowest config 04+ f150, save for a 4.6)... I test drove a stock 6.0 350 with a friend looking to buy one, it's definately faster than my current truck, but i think my old 2wd truck would have given it a run for its money... there's a huge difference between my two trucks, wish i would have gotten to take them both to the track...
