Front spring replacement for '59 F100

My front springs are either broken or just sacked out, because they ride down near the bump stops and bottom out regularly.

So I checked out Dennis Carpenter, and they sell everything BUT the springs themselves. A shrewd person in this forum earlier suggested I go to a local truck spring shop and have them fab a set, but what spring rate/number of leafs do I specify? Is there a spring from another year/application that you guys use to swap in for an improvement?

I`m sure someone will jump in soon.
I got mine for the 56 from a local spring shop and used their recommendations. The new springs were still close to the stops, after they added one more leaf per side it was good.

Re-tempering them is cheaper, just have it done @ the same truck spring shop.
