1956 truck radio power unit

Try Sacramento Vintage Ford Parts, or Hemmings Motor News. You can run want ads, but it's tough to find the "brain box" without the head/dial and speaker.
Most want to sell the entire unit.
There's a radio maven in Fresno that sells at swap meets, and runs ads in Hemmings...I forget his name.

Gusso,
I have the same exact situation with my 56. I've looked everywhere, and constantly search ebay. I met a guy on this forum that had one last fall from a parts truck he bought, but when he noticed my enthusiasm after he offered to sell it to me, I guess he decided he would make a better profit on ebay. I'm still looking though, let me know if you come up with anything, good luck!,
