I was watching tv the other night when that dreaded commercial aired . They are now claiming to be the "Most Dependable Line of Full-Sized Pick-ups". I sure would like to know where they are getting their figures from . Cause i've heard quite the OPPOSITE from SEVERAL Ram owners .. maybe some of you could have insight on this. I'm totally Baffled
I saw the commecial also think you mean the longest lasting truck the bud either way it still doesn't make any sense

You can make a poll come out however you want if you know what you are doing. There was probably fine print somewhere telling the exclusions of the poll...like, we only asked Dodge owners what they thought.
And they wouldn't sell many trucks if their commercial said, "Dodge, we have the most trucks on the road...because they broke down and can't be moved."
You mean to tell me you guys aren't going to run right out and buy a Dodge after see that commercial? Dodge is great!! hahahahahahahahahahahahaha not

All the domestic brands make dependable trucks. What is the point of arguing over a commercial? All the big three have claimed to have the most dependable truck at one point or another. Does that mean it's true? Of course not. It's all advertising.

People in the "numbers" business can make their numbers read any way they want. I have noticed around here in the Tulsa area there are more Dodge trucks on the used car lot than Fords or Chevy's.

yeah..... if when dodge says "dependable" they mean their truck go through 3 rack and pinions, 1 set of ball joints, 1 sterring shaft, and an automatic tranny rebuild, all before 5 yrs and 65,000 mi. then i guess you can say theyre "dependable"
btw. this was on a '92 dakota reg. cab w/ the 3.9 v6, the tranny wasnt really dodges fault since the P.O. abused it, but the rest of the stuff was dodges fault.

ain't no such thing as too much overkill.
I hate to say it but I believe Toyota maybe the BEST. As for dependable. If Toyota ever comes out with a REAL 3/4 ton truck I think the Big three will be in for a real run for there money.
Dought it, really do I see mabe 3 Toyotas a day going to and from work. little tacomas I always pass them and they dont do anything, prroborly has some good K, but doesint make it as relible, proborly doesint do anything with the truck. even tho lets wait for the new Tundra as for dodge let me finish um off there are alot of new Dodges on the road right now, The hemi is hyped up for people who are brain dead "oh man its got a Hemi" nope its got a pile of crap, oh.
