1986 Ford E150 - no start

We have a 1986 Ford E150 van. Not starting. Any idea where the intertia switch and fuel relay may be located so that we can check them out. Thanks!

IIRC, The Inertia switch was usually under the dash

The fuel relay ?

I know the computer performs a "ground out" to actuate the fuel pump.

maybe check the autozone site repair section for a diagram ?

You are getting spark correct? Remember the fuel pump will not cut on if there are no signals from the distributor. Here's a link to the repair guides.

Note the computer will close the relay for one second when you turn on the key and then as Franklin2 said it will not come on again until it gets a PIP train from the Distributor.

As Mil1ion said the fuel cutoff switch should be on the toe board on the passenger side or behind the passenger kick panel.

The relay should be mounted to the passenger fender right beside the EEC Power relay.

Here is a diagram of the electrical fuel system.
