Super Deal Found for those who change their own oil!

Just wanted to share a good deal that I found on Shell Rotella-T 15w40 at Sam's Club. I was strolling the automotive aisles this evening in Toledo, OH and saw a 6/1 gallon pack (6 Gallons) for $54.88!!! Being that there is roughly 4 (Thanks for the correction) quarts per gallon, that works out to $2.29 a quart!

2 Oil changes for half the price of a single stealership change?? Count me in.

Not to be a pain, but theres only 4 quarts to a gallon. 24 qts figure its close to 60 bucks after tax a litlle over 2 bucks a quart but still a decent buy.

Maybe so! It is winter and the old powersmoke tends to idle more...

At any rate, when my local Autozone has the gallon jugs on sale, they are $9.99, but that is only when they are on sale. I believe they are usually 11.99 or 12.99, which makes the Sam's price purty darn good.

When i first bought my truck last year they had it for 36$ for 6 gallons. I went to buy it again it was 50$ and got mad. I get it form TSC now for $40 for 5 gallons and it includes the free bucket.

I just checked my local TSC. They have 2.5 gallons for $26.48 ($10.59 per gallon). Maybe the store will have a better deal that isn't online. I'll check the next time that I'm near there.

That's a hell of a deal! I run Schaeffer's full synthetic 15W-40 7000 series and that costs about $15/gallon when you buy in a 5g bucket.

I did lifetime oil change. 500.00. They use rotella, new champion filter, rotate tires, top off all fluids, test batteries, and lube up to 6 changes a year (every other month) Made up the cost of the 500.00 in little over a year. Have it on both my PSD's. Now that is a deal

who does lifetime oil change? that sounds like a losing proposition for a company if people hang on to their vehicles for any length of time (people like me)

Yes, that lifetime oil change sounds like a good deal. What company are you with on that Fire Rooster? I don't know if any companies in S. Idaho offer such a deal.
