Hi, Everyone,
I have a 2001 f150 4x4, I am having problems with my turnsignals and flashers and brake lights. The turn signals stopped working and the relay under the dash was buzzing. So, I replaced it but now when the flashers are on the right rear wont flash and the brake lights wont come on. I have checked all the fuses and bulbs.

Does anyone have any clue what it might be? It sounds like more than the multifunction switch.

Bad multifunction switches can really cause some strange problems.
Does the high-mount stop light on the back of the cab work?
If it does that points to a faulty multifunction switch.
Let's hear you say faulty multifunction switch fast 5 times

 

yes it does. do u think thats my only problem?

 

I think it probably is, but anything is possible.
The switch is pretty easy to replace.

 

If you replace the multifunction switch ,don't use an after market switch. I did this and had more problems.I bought a new switch from Ford because it has been updated(pt.# YL3Z-13K359-ABA).Factory switch fixed it all. LOL!
