'08 Overview in Magazine
I got to see the 08 article for the first time in the Trailor Life magizine. I like everything that they had to say about the truck, the new PSD, and the ride/drive.
Personally I didn't like the dash layout at all. I really like the style at the 99ish years and up to the 03ish that i have seen. Just dont like that big fat round "duh here is a big gauge" look.
Just my two cents.

pickuptruck.com also has an article on the 08. I am interested in the fuel economy of these new engines it is my guess that they will be less than the 6.0 form some of the remarks in the articles I have read to this point. That is contradictory to what Ford has told the public. They did this on the 6.0 also.... I hope I am wrong... there comes a point where the more HP and more MPG will stop and you get one or the other not both.

Kelly Blue Book has all the pricing now for the 08's including the F-450 pickup. I priced the F-350 crew cab...with an equally equipped F-450 pickup..both in XL and XLT configuration. The bottom line is...when equally configured the 450 is right at 3,000 more than the 350. Think about it...thats not a big difference when you consider people are going out and buying a set of 19.5 wheels for their 350 to beef up the truck ...at a price of 2,500 for aftermarket tires and 19.5 wheels. Pluse you get the bigger axel, bigger brakes, and a frame that unique to the 450. And of heavier spring rates.
