I'd like to know exactly what bushing they sent you. I listed every bushing from 1973/79. You then gave me the axle number, and I listed the ONLY bushing it could use.


There are no serial number breaks, no date code breaks, and no TSB's either. So whatever they sent you is ??? to me.

Ironically there are two stickers on the plastic parts bag. One is from Dnnis Carpenter and it is C5TZ-3B177-A. The other is from NPD and it shows the same part number. It looks like this is a part that may have carried over for a few years. Like I said, NPD was very receptive to work with in resolving the problem.

Ok guys another dumb question and then I can put this issue to rest. Now that I have bushings that fit, does its make any difference which way they go in. One side has a pretty good flange on it. I kind of assume that it makes no difference.

What's interesting is that I gave you that part number, several times.

You gave me the axle number, I crossed it over, and guess what..see post #13.
