I used to work in the Wilmington lanes when they were on Bancroft parkway and it truely depends on the inspectors you get. I have heard though that for some reason Georgetown is not as strict as the others.
Barry, get your eye doctor to write you a note requiring tinted glass. It will not only help with the inspection lane, but also if you get stopped on the road.

I went through Georgetown. Rear windows are black and front ones are "illegal" I rolled the front ones down when I went through and they never asked me to roll them up. I needed them down to hear the inspector anyway. I plan on getting a note though just so I don't ever have any problems.

OK Barry. let's try a different route.
does the fair state of Delaware have a self inspecting statute like jersey?? here, we have a little known law that states that a diesel truck registered between 10,000 and 18,000 lbs is self inspecting.
my 88 has never had a sticker on the window, cause it's registered for 11,000 lbs.
