More Pics of 55 effie... if you're bored!

Just wanted to update album. Took off the doghouse and prepared engine & tranny for removal. Gotta put some blue on that block... looks to much like a chebby! Want to paint same color as finish on truck (2001 Viper Blue) hopefully. Probably change my mind about three more times.
Frame silver with some metallic with clear and viper blue on drive train and and finish. hope it looks ok when done. Gonna name her "Big Blue"!

Lookin good! Love those 55's. I like the silver frame and it should look great with a blue body.

Looks great. What were the steps you took to end up with such a good finish on the frame and suspension components?

Wheel tubs

Nice work all round. My truck is about at the same stage, keeping in mind that my frame hasn't been done as well. I really like the wheel tubs you've used, could you tell me where you got them?
Thanks DAN

Thanks for the compliments on the 55. I can not take credit for the work on the front suspension install. Previous owner did the front suspension. He was a rod builder for many years in OH. Built some absolutely beautiful stuff (show winners). God Bless his soul... he got lukemia at age 53 and passed away. I bought the last rod he had started and going to try and finish it the way he started.

Bob,

That silver frame should really set off the blue paint. i think it will look awesome!

All it takes is a willingness to learn. Slap some tools in that boys hand (don't forget the little guy either) You'll have quite the team of helpers
