300,000 miles?
I was in Vegas this last week and spotted two 08 6.4s getting fuel. They were unbadged and had a wierd vinyl wrap on them. By the time i got around the block they were leaving the pumps. so I couldnt talk to the guys.
With that said I was at the World of Concrete and ask a Ford rep about them and he said they have many test pickups out on the road and some have over 300,000 miles on the 6.4. I remember hearing these type of statements about the 6.0, but in the reps words Ford cant afford another 6.0!
He also said shipping started on 1/22

I run the standard 3 year 36K mile warranty out the first year I own a truck. Thats why I bought a 75k mile service plan for $2000.00. I did have some small issues and some injectors go down, a turbo in the standard warranty but my total repairs between 40K and 75K miles on the service plan hit almost $30K before the service plan ran out.
I would not have been a happy camper with that kind of repair cost on my dime.
