1969 Ranchero GT body questions
My father owns a 1969 Ranchero GT. He purchased it from one of his friends who brought it from arizona. He is going to restore it, which is easy because it is in amazing shape. It has 60,000 miles on the 4v 351. He is a mechanic and fabricater/welder. He cannot find a rear driverside quarter panel anywhere. Does anyone know of a salvage yard in their area that might have one. I tried looking on-line but can't seem to get a reply. Thanks!

1969 Ranchero GT body questions
Finding a junkyard with a 69 Ranchero would be very tough and even if you did, the quarter panel may be rusty. I would suggest you try to find a new quarter panel from a Ranchero part supplier such as Dearborn Classics. Their website is: www.dearbornclassics.com
They have quarter patch panels (they are the lower half of the quarter panel with the wheel well area going from the taillight area up to the door area) which sells for around $150. Hope this helps.

By the way: 1968/69 Ranchero's use the same quarter panels.
