Hi my name is DJ and I retired from the Army last year and bought a 2017 F350 to replace my 2006 F350 to tow my 5th wheel around.
Also and FYI there is no sales tax on a new F350 in Virginia due to current tax code, due to any vehicle having a GCWR greater than 26,000 lbs!
Cheers!

1st diesel
I just bought a 2007 f250 super duty Lariat quad cab with the 6.0.
It has 204,000 miles and "supposedly" has the EGR delete and head studs.
I bought it from a used car dealer who said that he got it from another dealer and didnt know its history.
I could see that the heads do have studs but I could not tell if the ERG has the delete. I did find the ERG valve laying on top of the engine still plugged in. The check engine light is on and Im assuming that is because of the ERG valve.
This is my 1st diesel and I have been researching the 6.0 for a couple of months trying to learn what I could before I bought one.
Im looking for any pointers, tips, ideas and suggestions as a newbie to the diesel world

Hi everyone. My name is James, but I'll be just as happy to answer to "OTL," so as not to be confused with all the other Jameses in the world...lol. I currently live in Collinsville, Virginia, but I'm a damn yankee originally from Rock Creek, Ohio. Glad to be part of the forum and am only too happy to be a first time F-150 owner. I've got a '13 F-150 STX known to family, friends, and foes alike as "Hellfreezer 2." Take care and talk to you guys soon!

Hi, Jim from glendale, arizona (again). Starting over and traded my 88 E350 21 ft. class C motorhome for a 93 E150 with basic conversion. Because of my disability the upgrades and repairs to the motorhome were just too much for me. The van needs some very minor attention other than a code 34 for drivers airbag, but still pretty sweet overall. I have had several Ford trucks and cars in the past but this is my first van. I'm sure I'll have many questions for everyone.
