clunk while braking -help please
Hi guys i was wondering if anyone ever had this problem. I have a 2001 f250 with 80,000 on it. If im driving at 50 mph and step on the brake when coming to a light, when im at around 15 mph i hear and feel a clunk under my feet. I had it into ford to look at and the mechanic changed the leaf spring bushing, but it still does it. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have a 1999 F-250 4X4 v10 with 60,000. My truck was doing the same thing, also the left front tire was leaning in towrds the fender well. I replaced the ball joints on both sides and fixed the problem. Make sure you replace them with the greasable kind. I did not have the time to do it my self, I paid $750.00 for parts and labor. This included new seals on the hubs. The old ones had never been replaced. Hope this helps, good luck!
