Where should I start?
Hi guys. Me and a freind are super interested in making bio d. We were going to buy a processor, but after reading everything you all have to say I've changed my mind. I also started reading about magnesol and that definately seems the way to go. We are very interested in getting something started this spring. My friend has a farm so we plan on making it there. Where do we start... I looked at the plans posted by fab but am not sure on the process or the speciffics of how to build this processor. I really only need a processor to be able to make about 250-300 gal. a month. Thanks in advance for your help. I'm new but am very interested.

Making biodiesel is easy. Have you decided on a processor? Standard size is usually 40 gallons making 30 gallon batches. Do you want to build your own processor and go it alone? or are you looking for an already built unit that comes with support? It all depends on what you want.
Getting the processing system is the hardest part.
Making fuel is the easiest.
Finding chemicals and raw oil is somewhere in between.
The learning curve is short but sharp and the big trick in all this is to Make Your First Batch !!! Once you've done that, its all down hill from there.
