57 -60 gas tank

The 58 I resently got i know will need the tank cleaned, but i was wondering if anyone knows if a newer tank will work? as in 61- up? if so any mods needed? Does any one also know of anyone reproducing them? Also any sugestions on cleaning out the tank? I usually use alachol but if anyone has a quicker or better method please let me know. Thanks

i dont know about swaping tanks but most of the more common parts suppliers should have new ones.

After flushing and testing a tank. I go to a marine supply store a get the plastic base like Paint stuff that ya pore in and roll around to coat the inside. It says that it is resistant against sea water and all elements.
