Mine tows for a living. It does great. I am going to CA to get a toy box next week. I use an adjustable hitch for light and medium loads and my weight distributing hitch has an extra 4" drop to it.

jgrijalva1, I'd bet you could run over that civic Also, how can you fit 13.5 inch tires on 10 inch rims? Are there any mods to the tire/rim or does it just fit?

Hey Da X-MAN i've been tempted a couple of times to hit that Civic. There was no problem fitting those 37 13.50 on 10 rims at all. the only think i don't like is the backspacing on that rim .Too much rub on a full turn.

Here are a few pics of my Ex in the Hurricane IKE's storm surge in Southeast Louisiana, in the heart of the Honey Island Swamp. These pics were taken right down the street from my house. The water did not get in my yard but it was close. But back in 05 Katrina put about 4 feet of water in my house and about 7 feet in the yard. My house is up 3 feet on a mound of dirt. Hope y'all enjoy.

My X was my Mobile Command Center during Ike too. I had a tv, power inverter, and all the necessary goods to survive a storm. My lift and tires definately paid for themselves that day.

I bought the EX after Katrina for that reason, if I ever had to evacuate again I would load her up with stuff so my family would have cloths on their backs when we came back home again.
Right after I bought he I was calling her the "EVACUATOR", only for that reason. And for Hurricane Gustauf we had a manidatory evac so it paid for herself then.

Hey Crazy Man... Did you change your front and rear differential fluids after that??? Its cheap security... I would do them asap if you have not done so.... How many inches of lift, and what is the brand of lift? what tire size are you running

Southpaw,
Yes I changed the fluids out right after the storm. As for the lift it is a Pro Comp 4" lift, came on the truck.I installed daul steering stablizers and daul shocks w/hoop up front and traction bars on the rear about year after I had her. The tire size you are asking about they are LT315/75R16", they also came on the truck when I bought it. I know you shouldn't do this but the front hubs are covered up by the caps. Really do not like that way and hope to get new set of wheels and tires this year to help fix that.

Did any of you guys have driveline vibration problems after you lifted these? I am debating between a Donahoe and BDS 6" all spring lift. Donahoe says maybe vib. probs and BDS says no...
