351W Headers for '78 Ranchero??

351W Headers for '78 Ranchero??
Help! I really want to add headers to my '78. All my searching has turned up no headers for the 351W in any '77 thru '79 Ranchero, T-Brid, Cougar or LTDII. From pictures of the various "shorty" headers out there, many have what appears to be the same basic configuration as the stock 351w manifolds. SOMEBODY out there must know of a header that fits or can be beaten and bent into place! Otherwise it's torch time with a box of mandrel bent tubing, not a pretty thought!

I suggest calling some of the major header manufacturers. Quite often they maintain a database of applications which never seem to make it to the published application charts - or they know the chassis and engine combinations well enough to know what should work. Don't get hung up too much on the year - if you find some that work in a 72 through 79 Ranchero , Torino, or LTDII - it should work. Good luck!
