king pins-1962

There's a couple of places that have tons of parts through catalogs. Dennis Carpenter is great, I've found LMC Truck to be the best price and there is also NPD. I think if you search the web for NPD Ford Parts and LMC Ford Parts - or something close you will get a link. The catalogs are almost as good as some of the manuals I have - great pictures that can help you remember how things were supposed to go.
Just one other thought. I had a local machinist do my king pins for $25 and the feel of the metal bushings is really sweet. I also heard the nylon do just fine. Good luck.

King Pins
I hear that front end parts from a 1975 F-150 will bolt right up to the 1962 F-100. The guy who told me that took the spindles and disk breaks from a '75 and stuck them under his '64. I don't know what King Pins are going for these days but you might try that. Worst case scenario you can buy them and take them back if they won't work. Just don't beat on them with a hammer or anything.

Nylon type bushed king bolts are not avalible for 57 to 64 applications.
You must use the bronze bushings and have them reamed to fit the new pins.
66 is the first year avalible to back track to as the 65 king bolt is slightly differing in the retainer location.
No parts from 65 up will interchange with with a 64 down front axle. Spindles, bearings, king bolts.
